Barry is so much more than his music, and his charity work gives us all an example of his selflessness.

Today I am posting a photo of Barry with Gary Kleiman, who is an inspiration to everyone at the Diabetes Research Institute. As a Type I diabetic and close friend of the Gibbs, Gary has worked most of his life to support the dream to eradicate Type I diabetes. This photo is from this year’s Love and Hope Ball, where Barry donated his talents by giving a concert for the 600 plus attendees. The Mythology Tour Band was amazing, and nearly one million dollars was raised on this special evening. Shown along with Barry and Gary in this photo is Aimee Siegel Harris, Director of Donor Relations, another dedicated colleague. Thank you, Barry, for your decades of work for this worthy organization. You music enriches us, but your heart gives us hope and inspiration.
