PHOTO FUN-REMEMBERING LA…..

June 4, 2015

One year ago today I sat in the famous Hollywood Bowl awaiting Barry and the Mythology Tour band and their last performance of the USA Mythology Tour. Barry finally made it to this historic venue, and it was going to be a special night for all the fans and the band and crew as well. The above photo is what I like to call the “swashbuckler” image. Barry is the embodiment of Sir Francis Drake and Errol Flynn rolled into one, and I picture him as the protector of the Queen of England back in the day when men were true men and courage and honor were revered. He was so focused during this performance, and I loved his expressions.

Let’s look at the journey that led to this concert….

HB empty

This is the Hollywood Bowl as it appears when empty. It looks a bit intimidating from the stage, and I tried to imagine it filled with fans and what that would look like from the performer’s perspective.

The magic on stage doesn’t happen without teamwork and rehearsal. it was a vey hot day in LA as the Mythology Tour band got to work. Here are Steve and the girls getting ready to flex those pipes!

During some moments, he took my breath away, just sitting on the stool smiling at the audience…he is such a dynamic force; and the best part is that he doesn’t even realize it….

Thank you for this beautiful portrayal of the concert! Barry and the Bee Gees are the very best!! Half of the songs the Beatles sang were just strange! The Bee Gees are the greatest artists ever! Hope Barry will have more concerts in America!! This country loves him, Linda, and their family. Our prayers are always with them. Barry’s best years are ahead of him!
