Welcome to morobinbarrystories.com! Please join me on twitter @morobinbarry. This site is for Bee Gee fans everywhere who would like to share and read stories of fun, joy, love and inspiration for Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. (Andy is not forgotten and is included at times). If you’d like to share a story, please email it to me at morobinbarrystories@gmail.com. Many stories will be used in my book, which is being edited now. At times, I will write about Gibb events that I hope the fans will enjoy hearing about.

Well, he’s done it again, and I simply want to say congratulations and HORRAY! To be a Bee Gee fan and not know about the wonderful concert at Glastonbury would be a shame, for our man, Barry Gibb, has outdone himself once again. It must be a great feeling to go “home” and to be met by hundreds of thousands of virtual hugs and deafening applause. What a rush for Barry and the band! This has to be one of his sweetest moments on stage, and I know that he must treasure every one of them.

I’m not sure why I’m feeling so proud, but I am extraordinarily happy. I suppose it’s because he’s still the best, and no one can emulate his talent. For those unfortunate people out there who never were Bee Gee fans or don’t know how incredible Barry truly is, I feel sad for all of them.

Glastonbury was a great success, and it must have been thrilling for the band to experience being a part of such an event. They get to work with an icon and a true musical genius. They are the best talent out there in music land, and they have a wonderful boss. Barry has been on the track running the race alone for quite some time now, and he’s doing amazing work as everyone can see. It isn’t emotionally or physically easy, but his strength and stamina are unmatched. It’s not only longevity; it’s a mindset of love for the music and his brothers that keeps him going.

I think the musicians and the tech people and the members who encompass The Barry Gibb Band have captured love in a bottle. It’s not often that people gel together and work happily and produce concerts that are this perfect. They work as though they are one cohesive unit destined to succeed. Doug is one of those guys who is so deceptive. He’s small, but he’s so powerful! Lee is always smiling as he shares his talents! The ladies are as classy as they come and powerhouse singers. Carlos remains a genius who balances multiple responsibilities. Dick Ashby is still the keeper of the kingdom in my book. Fans know what I’m talking about. I could discuss every band member at length; but suffice to say, they rock. Every single one of them is special.

I’ve been able to witness several concerts, and they all seem to be truly happy to be working with Barry and each other, and that’s not always the case in such a competitive business. Many congratulations to all of Team Barry.

The fans are grateful, and the music world is blessed. Hopefully, the new memories will remain bright for a long while to come. As time goes on, I think these memories become more precious to the fans, as well as the musicians.
