Welcome to Morobinbarrystories.com! Please join me on twitter @morobinbarry. This site is for Bee Gee fans everywhere who would like to read and share stories of fun, joy, love and inspiration for Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. Andy is included at times as well. If you’d like to share a story, please email it to me at morobinbarrystories@gmail.com. Stories will be posted at times and many will appear in my book, which is still in the editing process. (This is a forever process, and my patience is truly an asset at this point).

On this Christmas Eve, it’s not unusual to reflect on one’s blessings and to appreciate what enriches our lives. Over the last several years, I have been reminded numerous times that Bee Gee fans are generous and compassionate, They are dedicated and loyal (not sounding like my German Shepherd Joey here, but it’s true). They having loving families and friends, and their loyalty to all things Gibb is mind-boggling.
Whether they have been fans for fifty years or two years (one fan wrote saying she was 19 and wished all music today was like the Bee Gees), the common thread is the love of the music and the affection for all the brothers.

As with Barry and his family, they often volunteer for various charities and share their time freely to help raise funds and awareness for those in need. Although many of them have sometimes faced debilitating challenges in their lives, they choose to be optimistic and hopeful, a true trademark of Bee Gee fans.

Fans are multi-talented themselves, and I am amazed at their contributions to society and their communities. It’s an honor meeting and interacting with them, and I know that they feel blessed to meet one another at concerts and on Facebook and through GSI as they share their passions for Barry, Robin, Maurice and Andy Gibb.
Just as Barry and Linda, Yvonne and Dwina make their families the number one priority in their lives, fans also nurture and care for their loved ones and appreciate them more as time goes by. At holiday time, it seems as though we are more grateful than ever for those who support and care for us.
So as we celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah. let us be uplifted by all our blessings, whether many or few. A kind smile for a stranger, a tight hug, a card in the mail, a dish of homemade cookies, a phone call to a long ago friend, extra dollars in the collection plate at church, and as many thank you’s we can think of…….let us share these blessings.
There’s always something wonderful to smile about……….
