Love in the Form of Music

Barry face

Welcome to Morobinbarrystories.com! Please join me on twitter @morobinbarry. This site is for Bee Gee fans everywhere who would like to read and share stories of fun, joy, love and inspiration for Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb. (Andy is not forgotten and is included at times). If you’d like to share a story, please email it to me at morobinbarrystories@gmail.com. Many stories will appear in my book, which is being edited now, and stories will be showcased in a special section.

At times, I will post articles about Gibb events, which I hope the fans will like. The next will be about the Haute Tea in October, which is a fundraiser for the Gibb charity, the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.

The following post comes from a fan whose sincere and compassionate words will touch the hearts of all fans.

Kristi

Thank you for sharing your love for the boys. Seriously, there is much more to the BeeGees than being a band. Their talent, their positive energy, the beauty they created, and the happiness that continues to be generated from their contributions is unlike anything I have ever experienced…it is quite simply…love in the form of music.

I too, am a teacher. At the end of the day, I connect to the light through their music, and it energizes me as I correct papers or plan lessons. Such lightness… We are so blessed to know this. I just discovered this site, and this is the first writing of yours that I have read. I will follow, and look forward to your book.

If I could do one thing, it would be to tell Barry to release the hurt caused by the American media in mocking the group. Really, the peons who cashed in on mocking the BeeGees hurt them tremendously. Such greatness to be treated that way was bullying at its worst. Barry and family need our love and gratitude. I hope future generations will be blessed to know the work of the three gifted brothers.

I find that as time passes, the positive energy I feel from the body of work of the Gibb brothers only grows stronger.  In my life, I have never actively engaged as a “fan.”  This summer, something compelled me to research, to see if others felt as I do; and a new world opened to me.  It is heartwarming to know others feel as I do.  I look forward to joining this group of likeminded souls.
