All I can say about this story that I received recently is that I thought nothing could surprise me, but I was wrong. (I have not changed syntax or edited this for spacing. It is just exactly as it was sent to me.)
Maria in Mexico
I want to tell you this anecdote that happened to me in October 2016.
I was doing a certain kind of work for Mexico’s federal government in the rural area of my municipality. In some communities there is no transportation and since I do not own a car I had to walk a lot between one inhabited place and another one, between cultivated fields and totally lonely places.
One of those days while walking and listening to Main Course, I noticed the loneliness that surrounded me and I thought alarmed that someone could attack me with impunity and even kill me without anyone knowing more about me (you know the level of insecurity in Mexico currently) and I felt scared, but almost instantly my fear faded away because I clearly felt four presences that were with me. I know with absolute certainty (and can’t explain myself why feel so) that were my beloved mother, Andy, Maurice and Robin who accompanied me.
It was so intense the feeling that they were going with me, that I felt their embrace with warm autumn breeze and I practically felt wrapped in a wave of warmth and security that nothing bad was going to happen to me, and I felt so protected, so sure, that I started to cry with gratitude, while their music in my ears sounded like a very personal message from them to me.
Someone could call me nuts or fanatic, I don’t care because I’m sure in that afternoon their Loe was surrounding me.
Nothing more to say, dear Anne Wish you the best in this coming 2019 and thanks for the love and care you show for our boys and their families.
Sending hugs and blessings,
Maria del Carmen Gonzalez Alvarado
